Skip the Favors: Invest in the Guest Experience

1 min read

Wedding favors have long been a tradition, but more couples are rethinking whether they need them at all. According to The Knot, favors aren't essential, and its recent wedding trend coverage highlights a growing focus on creating memorable guest experiences through food, drinks, and interactive dining.

Instead of spending money on favors that guests may leave behind, couples are choosing to put those dollars toward cocktail-hour enhancements, bar enhancements, dessert experiences, and late-night food stations.

Think gourmet mac and cheese, sliders, pizza, tacos, pasta stations, elevated bar offerings, beautiful dessert displays, or late-night sweets.

These additions allow everyone to enjoy the investment together—and create experiences guests are more likely to remember.

If favors aren't a priority for you, don't feel like you have to include them simply because they're traditional. Your wedding budget should reflect what matters most to you—and investing in the guest experience can be a wonderful way to put those dollars to work.
