1963 - The Early Years
Northampton Valley Golf Club, Inc. purchased approximately 124 acres in Richboro with the vision of creating a premier semi-private golf club for Bucks County. The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Edmund B. (Ed) Ault, one of the most respected golf course architects of the mid-20th century.
1963 - The Sklar Family Era
One of the most remarkable aspects of Northampton Valley's history is that it remained under the original ownership of the Sklar family for more than five decades. During that time, the property evolved from a golf course into a destination for:

2018 - Transition to Northampton Township
In 2018, Northampton Township purchased the property to preserve it as open space and ensure it would remain a public asset for future generations.
2026- A new chapter began
